Hubby & I went to visit my place last Good Friday. Naks... Visit talaga ang word, para namang ang layo ng house namin from our place. Hehe. 10 mins lang naman na tricycle ride and we're there na. Lolz. Anyway, we went there coz my relatives gather at our place every Good Friday and Easter Sunday. Our family gatherings are always the potluck kind. Sa laki kasi ng family on my mom's side, 1 person would be dead tired cooking for the whole clan. During merienda, we all decided to buy Halo-halo at a nearby store. I was shocked to know that a glass of Halo-halo costs Php30. Wow! Dapat mala-Chowking ito! Nahiya naman kami ni Hubby to take back the orders so okay na lang. To my surprise, complete pala sya ng sahog. For a regular glass, siksik talaga ng laman ang Halo-halo. D rin sila nagtitipid sa milk.
I ordered Mais con Yelo. I thought I made the wrong choice after seeing them put a hefty block of leche flan into the Halo-halo. Hubby saw that I was so inggit, he then requested them to put leche flan in my order. Kahit magdagdag na lang daw cya. He added Php5.00 for the leche flan and wow! It was super sulit. I enjoyed my Mais con Yelo to the max. Actually, it seemed like it was leche flan in ice lang sa laki talaga ng nilagay nila.
