Happy Easter everyone!

I know I'm kinda late in greeting you all a Happy Easter! I don't care! Lolz... Been quite busy the past week. Busy relaxing, reflecting, and spending time with hubby. Hubby & I have been going out of town for days. The only time we stayed home was on Good Friday & Black Saturday. Of course, we wanted some time to reflect din.

Last Wednesday morning, we left for his hometown in Guiguinto, Bulacan. That trip wasn't planned at all. We were just making kwento about penitensya, pabasa, and other Holy Week stuff when all of a sudden he told me to pack our things coz we are heading for Bulacan. Nyak! That's how we are... Things and events may go unplanned or uncalled for. When we feel like it, we go for it. But not all the time. I kinda felt excited bout it coz he wanted me to experience Holy Week in the province. As a backgrounder, my mom's hometown is... Manila, Dad's naman is Meycuayan, Bulacan. Fabulous, ayt? So my brother & I never really got the chance to see people lined up in the street doing their Holy Week panata. Going back to my story, I was excited and so was he. So everything's packed and we're ready to go. Another surprise! We were going to Bulacan by public transpo. Yipeee!!! It's back to basics for us. Galing namin mag-trip no? Hehe. It was super fun for us as a couple coz no one's driving or busy on the road. It was just him & me, sitting side by side sa jeep, bus, and tricycle. I super loved it! We didn't mind the big heavy bag we brought. Basta we were enjoying the 2 hr trip.

When we got to their place, na-surprise din ang mga cousins and pamangkins nya. As mentioned, it was unplanned. Everyone was happy talaga as we were telling them the story kung bakit kami napadpad dun. His childhood friends were glad to see us din.

Another suprise he had for me was the visit to the Shrine of the Divine Mercy. Hubby & his cuzins brought me there. I remember before we got married that I wanted to visit the Shrine. He remembered pala. It was an hour jeepney ride from their place daw. An hour took us 2 hrs. Dami na kasi people. After saying our prayers, they toured me na. Hehe, feeling turista.

I enjoyed the trekking the Rosary Hill & the vast lot area where the Stations of the Cross will take place that day.

This was how we spent Wednesday & Thursday last week.
