Surgery, oh no!

credits to this site
Off to the hospital I go tomorrow as my papa is scheduled to undergo cataract surgery at 8am. I am scared for him, he is not. He claims that no harm will be done and he wouldn't be confined in the hospital. Right, this type of surgery is usually done on an outpatient basis. But still it's called surgery. Help me calm my nerves, and my mom, please? Haha. Both of us being the nervous type. I am confident that everything's gonna turn out fine. I would rather have him undergo the surgery than go blind.

One of my stress-relievers while in the hospital is to look out for colorful and cute uniforms that the nurses wear. I remember writing an article months ago informing you all that I would love to buy a set of cheap scrubs. I believe that they would make me feel so comfy. I browsed  http://www.blueskyscrubs.com/categories/Scrubs/Scrubs-for-Women/ and found affordable scrubs. I also plan to check out the store located at the back of the hospital to see if they sell any. Maybe I'd also buy the *should I say belt* or thigh bag I saw one time. I said thigh bag coz most of them wear it on either their left or right thigh.

*Please pray for a successful cataract surgery for my papa. Thanks!*

No scrubs... just yet!

I want a scrub suit! Seriously, I am contemplating on buying a pair. Gone are the days when nurses or hospital staff would wear nursing uniforms that are too heavy and crisp. Nowadays, a lot of people, not just those in the medical field, wear one. I've seen a couple of househelpers wear cute, colorful scrubs.  Even my very own masseuse wears one. She said that their employer required it to be their uniform. Neat and lovely to look at. Scrub uniforms are in. Search online and you'd find a wide variety of scrub suits worldwide.

Green scrubs are so outdated. Whenever I see one, I get to picture an emergency room of a hospital or even an operating room. The green scrubs I think are used in the surgery department. I happened to visit a site where they sell colorful and hip scrub suits, lab coats, and even scrub huts. I am definitely getting one.
