Merry Christmas to you and you and you! This year, I will be spending Christmas eve in the office. This is going to be the second time for me. First Christmas eve at work happened in 2002. That time I had no choice but to go to work as it required me to. This year, I will be spending it at work, and that is by choice. I wont have the chance to listen to the Christmas songs the special carolers will be singing tonight. Why special? Because they drive a mini truck which holda the instruments they need such as an electronic drumset which is similar to the alesis dm10 studio at Musicians friend.
I volunteered to work tonight as I don't want to be home alone on Christmas eve. Both my parents are in the US, my brother and his family are out of town with his in-laws, and the husband has to be out of town too. I could spend the evening with my cousins and other relatives, but that can wait til tomorrow for the Christmas lunch get-together.
As off press time, I am in bed... waiting to fall asleep so I could get up on time tonight for work.
