Who, what, is back? Chicken skin-like bumps in my thighs. Hate it! Why does it have to come back? Huhuhu. I remember having this kind of skin condition once or twice every summer, when I perspire all over. Could it be that I'm allergic to my own sweat? Boo! I noticed this 2 weeks ago when I changed into my house clothes after wearing jeans the whole day. It doesn't itch but I just don't like how it feels. Rough bumps on my thighs resembling goosebumps. I haven't seen a doctor regarding this but I think I need to go see one in the near future. Hmm, that made me smile. Why? Because I'd be seeing cute scrub suits worn by the nurses again. I may be seeing a nurse wearing a suit which is similar to the landau scrubs from mynursinguniforms. Pardon me, but I just am really fascinated with cute scrub suits.
Going back to this skin condition of mine, I have read that this is called "Keratosis Pilaris". Yeah, research to the max. It has been said that it worsens during winter/cold months, or at times during low humidity when the skin dries out. I'm thankful that since the rains have brought the cool weather in, the bumps are going, going, gone. So, I figured out that when I'm sweaty and during the hot and humid months, they say hello. And when it's cool and cold, they say goodbye. So, more cool weather please?
