Welcome 2012!
As we all welcome the New Year, I contemplated on whether to create a list of resolutions or not. Honestly, most often than not, I only get to a good start and stop somewhere in between, leaving it there for the rest of the year. Arrgh, procrastination! One of the habits I have to erase from my system, definitely! I spent so much time online and landed on this site where I made a mental note to visit everyday going forward. So, instead of creating a list of resolutions for this year, I thought of starting 2012 as if I was given a second chance in life. True, right? Another year, another life to live - fully, happily, and responsibly. Let me share / repost what I found. 1. Let go of the past 2. Identify the lesson 3. Lose the negative attitude - Amen! 4. Accept accountability for the current situation - 5. Focus on the things you can change. 6. Figure out what you really want. 7. Eliminate the non-essential. 8. Be very specific. 9. Concentrate on DOING instead of NOT Doing. 10. Create a Daily Routine. 11. Maintain Self-control and work on it for real. 12. Forget about impressing people. These a not my resolutions but will be my guide to starting the year right.
