The picture on the left shows one of the famous restaurants in the Binondo/Chinatown area in Manila. The husband and I love to try out all the places to visit (I love Binondo! Tall steel buildings, people from all walks of life, etc - so diverse!) and restaurants to eat in the area. I would really love to join the Binondo Food Wok tour but my schedule won't permit. Good thing the Binondo Food Wok map is available at the Team Manila store in MOA, so I got hold of a copy. The evening before going to Binondo, hubby and I randomly picked and pointed our fingers on the map and made a deal that where ever our fingers landed, we are going there. One of the places we randomly chose was this restaurant. What can I say? Yummy and affordable. For a little less than Php500, we strolled the streets of Binondo with a heavy tummy and a smile on our face. And before I forget, hubby and I had a good laugh wondering why we didn't order anything with beef in it. As the name suggest, beef would be their specialty. Haha! "Next time" was all we uttered.

ReplyDeleteI enjoyed this but would really have liked more detail about what you did eat (even if it wasn't beef!) since it was obviously so good! :) How lucky you were to land up somewhere delicious just by pointing your fingers on the map!
