Pamper Yourself Today part 2

I'd like to share with you 2 of the spa recipes I've tried here in the comforts of our very own home. I happened to buy The Home Spa book by Melissa PizaƱa-Cruz at Powerbooks for an affordable price of Php 95.00. The ingredients are simple and can be found right in your kitchen. It's so good to treat yourself once in a while with simple recipes such as these:

Yogurt and Oatmeal Scrub ( For the Face ):

3 tablespoons dry oatmeal
1/4 c yogurt

Mix ingredients together and scrub onto the face for a minute. Rinse with cool water.

** Oatmeal acts as a gentle exfoliant and is traditionally used to treat rashes, while the Lactic Acid in yogurt helps in the exfoliation of dead skin cells.


Oatmeal and Yogurt Body Polisher ( for the body ):

2 cups plain yogurt
1/4 c oatmeal
1 tbsp honey

Mix all ingredients. Dampen skin in the shower and gently massage mixture all over body. Rinse off.
